Your house should have ample storage and it should be strategically placed. This is important as it helps avoid clutter but be careful on the placement.
A good example is that of your walk in closet. Instead of having an over-sized walk in closet, you can have more space added to the main bedroom or your bathroom. This makes your bedroom more spacious and adds more living space for you.
So be wary of using too much space eating into your living space. If you master this ratio of living space:storage space then the house will be clutter free and functional as well.
