When we hear the word cottage the first thing that comes to mind is a small version of a family home but when we say cabin, we tend to see a small structure mainly used as temporary shelter. Some prefer a cabin and some prefer a cottage, this basically depends on how much space you have and the type of setting your stand or plot has. To those who know, a cottage is the better investment.
